Tried to get the Red of the dress, the blue of the hair and the whites of the eyes to represent the American flag. Changed the background from black to be a compliment of the red dress, the colour of money.Composed the figure askew and leaning into the canvas to see if I could get a feeling of movement(should gravity determine the ear-rings point downwards? Maybe this adds more movement)
I wonder if I added some horns would people give out?I wonder is it still O.K. to paint political satire?I wonder.
